I loved reading my Raggedy Ann books when I was a child (showing my age here), and Orphan Annie has been made into dozens of books since its original 1885 debut, and into 8 movies from 1918!

But do you know where they came from?

I was surprised by the answer just as much as when I learned that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was written by the same author as James Bond!
